Prativedan is run by Vardan Soft. It helps students write academic reports and build them as Word documents, on this website and through AI assistants such as Claude that connect to it (the “connector”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your account. You sign in with your account at our sign-in service. We receive an account identifier and, when you allow it, your name and email address. We use the identifier to keep your reports yours. We never see your password.
- Your reports. What you write in a report (such as your name, roll number, college, organization, supervisor and the chapters), the format you chose, and the images you add to it, with the dates they were created and changed.
- Download links. When an assistant asks for a download link, we keep a random link code, the report it is for and when it expires.
- Technical logs. Our servers record requests (time, address, path and errors) to keep the service running and secure.
What we don’t collect
When you use the connector, the assistant sends us only what a tool needs, such as a report id or the text to put in a section. We don’t receive or store your conversations with the assistant, its memory, or your other files.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: to save your reports, show them back to you, check them and build them as documents. We don’t sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your reports to train AI models.
Sharing
Your reports are visible only to you, through your account. Anyone you give a download link to can download that report until the link expires. We use hosting and database providers to run the service, who store the data on our behalf. The AI assistant you connect is run by its own provider (for Claude, Anthropic) under its own privacy policy, and sees what you and the tools exchange in your conversation. We share data with others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Reports and their images: until you delete them. Deleting a report deletes its images.
- Download links: they stop working after 30 minutes and are deleted shortly after.
- Technical logs: for a limited time, to run and secure the service.
Your choices
You can see, change and delete your reports at any time on this website or through the connector. You can disconnect the connector in your assistant’s settings. To have your account and everything in it deleted, or for any question about your data, write to vardansoftpvtltd@gmail.com.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Every request for a report must carry a valid sign-in token for the account that owns it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you on this website.
